Oops, we forgot
-
You have a customer paying you a monthly fee for a service. They are
nearing the end of their contract and you want to retain them. Offer
them an attractive deal if they renew, such as some money off their
bill. When it comes time to take the money off the bill, forget. Many
customers won't notice and will continue to pay the full amount. When
others complain, simply promise to fix the error and refund the account,
but don't actually get around to it unless they complain several times.

Sorry, we sold out
-
You want to get customers to come to your shop. In adverts and on your
website you advertise some 'low end' products at incredibly low prices.
When the customer arrives at your shop, you have sold out of the
products with the great prices, but offer the customer a product
with a higher price tag - for a reduced price.
